One of Asia's largest book fairs returns to Bharat Mandapam from 16 to 24 January 2027, open 11 am to 8 pm in Halls 2 to 6. It is organised by the National Book Trust, India, under the Ministry of Education.
What is on
Publishers from India and abroad, author sessions, children's programmes and a rights-exchange track for publishers and agents. NBT's 2027 focus areas include literary heritage, young readers, the future of publishing and rights exchange.
Who should go
Publishers and authors, schools, libraries and families, students, ed-tech and learning brands, and literary and translation agencies.
For brands
- NBT lists exhibitor booking as closed, so look at sponsoring sessions or reading zones, or sharing space with an exhibitor.
- Education, stationery and children's brands fit the family crowd well, especially on the weekends.
- Publishers should fix rights-exchange meetings before the fair.
